Shanghai International Medical Center

Shanghai International Medical Center (SIMC) is a tertiary care private hospital located in Shanghai International Medical Zone in Pudong New District, Shanghai. It is an internationally-run general hospital with specialities like surgery, internal medicine, OBGYN, pediatrics, ophthalmology, ENT, stomatology, plastic surgery, endoscopy center, IVF and health screening, etc. There will be 450 beds in the hospital including 100 beds for ICU(Intensive Care Unit) and HDU (High Dependency Unit). The wards comprise mainly single rooms and twin beds rooms.SIMC will introduce the 3H concept, which stands for hospital, hotel and home, to provide quality services that meet the international standards. The hospital will be operated by Singapore Parkway Health Group, one of the world's largest private health care groups. It is scheduled to open up to the public in Nov. 2013.
