ShuGuang Hospital (Puxi) VIP department

Shanghai Shuguang hospital affiliated with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (T.C.M.) is one of the first class general hospitals in China with long history. It was established in 1906 and once named Siming Hospital, sponsored by countryman association of Ningbonese, Zhejiang province. In 1960, it was merged with Shanghai No.10 People’s hospital (western medicine hospital) and Shanghai No. 11 People’s hospital (T.C.M. hospital). Shuguang hospital is divided into two parts: eastern and western branch. The hospital has taken every effort to strengthen T.C.M. connotation construction, inherit and carry forward T.C.M. and set up several clinical departments and working rooms named after Shanghai famous T.C.M. doctors. Innovating to establish traditional Chinese medical center and combining many traditional Chinese departments together such as internal medicine, acupuncture, tui-na and rehabilitation. In September 2007, Shuguang hospital has been acknowledged to be the first group unit of T.C.M. preventive disease treatment
